Indian Ocean NEMURO Model (I-NEMURO)

The NEMURO ecosystem model initially designed for North Pacific by Yamanaka et al. (2004) is adopted for the Indian Ocean environment. Further, the model is coupled to the Level-2 Turbulent Closure 1-D model for the upper 250 meters with a 5-m resolution to each grid. The combined physical and ecosystem model is called I-NEMURO. This is a one-Dimensional model suitable for studying phytoplankton and zooplankton variability.
